
3. At the same time turn the knob for the oven
functions counter-clockwise to the maxi-
mum setting and push it down.
4. When the flame comes on, keep the gas
oven control knob pushed for approximate-
ly 15 seconds.
After ignition:
1. Release the knob.
2. Close the oven door.
3. Turn the knob for the oven functions to the
necessary setting.
Oven safety device:
The oven has a thermocouple. It stops the gas
flow, if the flame goes out.
If the oven gas burner does not come on
or if it accidentally goes out:
1. Release the knob for the oven functions
and turn it to the off position.
2. Open the oven door.
3. After one minute, try to light the burner
again.
Turning off the oven burner
To put out the flame, turn the knob to the off
position.
Using the grill
Warning!
Do not leave the appliance unattended during
grilling. The accessible parts of the appliance
become hot. There is a risk of burns.
Warning! Keep children away when the
grill operates. There is a risk of burns.
Warning! Never use the grill with closed
door. There is a risk of fire or carbon
monoxide emissions.
1. Open the oven door.
2. Put grill deflector A into position above the
door. Make sure that the two catches en-
gage correctly in the holes in the top part
of the front frame of the oven cavity (under-
neath the control panel).

3. Hold a flame near the grill burner holes.
4. Turn the gas oven control knob to the Grill
position
. Push the knob in and hold.
Caution!
Make sure to turn the knob as far as it
goes, avoiding the intermediary position
between Off and Grill. On intermediary po-
sitions the spark generator can remain ac-
tive.
5. Preheat the grill for 5 to 10 minutes.
6. Put the meat on the oven shelf and put it
on shelf level 3.
Warning! Do not put the meat on the
highest shelf level. There is a risk of fire.
7. Put a baking tray or roasting pan below, on
shelf level 2, to collect the juices.
Do not put the meat directly in the tray or
pan.
8. Keep the door slightly open.
9. When the first side is roasted, turn the
meat over with a fork to avoid losing its
juice.
10. When the second side is also ready, re-
move the meat from the oven.
